About this event

Bring the history of Florida's Capital City into your classroom by joining staff from the Florida Historic Capitol Museum and The Grove Museum for virtual tours of their sites and trivia! Both museums will give fifteen-minute tours focused on the history of Florida government, politics, slavery, and civil rights.

Following the tours, your students will have the opportunity to test their knowledge through an interactive trivia session using Kahoot! This program is designed for grades fourth through eighth.

Instructions for coordinating the trivia and meeting information for the virtual platform of your choice will be provided in a confirmation email after registration. Participation requires that teachers have access to Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

We ask that you sign up at least 48 hours in advance. If these exact times do not work for your class, please contact the Florida Historic Capitol Museum's Education Coordinator at null.stephanie@flhistoriccapitol.gov or The Grove Museum's Program Coordinator at patricia.singletary@dos.myflorida.com.
